I'm wondering what the price is for an OEM RS rear decklid (including hardware and any necessary wiring). Not the carbon wing blade, just the decklid. Anybody know a general price for this?

 

Its sold in one piece I believe.

Why do you want just the decklid?

You may need to go aftermarket if you want just the decklid.....but Im not sure

 

So if someone dented just your rear decklid, and you wanted to fix it, Porsche would make you buy the entire decklid and another cf wingblade? That doesn't seem right.

I was wondering if buying an OEM decklid and the Manthey Racing wing blade would be considerably less than all OEM components.

Check with GMG. They carry the Manthey wing, plus the decklid.

That was a hypothetical situation, I don't own a GT3 yet. Just pricing the mods I plan to do.

I have a good relationship with our local dealer, I'm sure I can get a discount from list price on the decklid, and going with the Manthey blade saves another $2300....pretty good for a high quality component. That savings is atleast a GMG WC Rollbar and some GT3 side logos, or a good start towards a pair of track seats, or CCW wheel set.

First of all nothing Manthey is cheap.
An OEM GT3RS wing /decklid is over $9K. I did not know they would part it out.
I know it's not OEM but Vorsteiner makes a very nice RS wing / decklid and I'm sure it would be much less.
