So I've resorted to a lifeline
I'm caught deciding among 3 GT3's (all 2007, and all with clear DMEs, in in the same condition)
* Guards Red, 1,400 miles, PCM 2.1, sports chrono, adaptive seats, heated seats, enhanced sound, thicker wheel, red guages, red stitching, $91,500 -- but dark tint on side and rear windows which I don't like
* Meteor Grey, 7,300 miles, enhanced sound, thicker wheel, PCM 2.1 $88,500
* White, 3,500 miles, enhanced sound, thicker wheel, no PCM, but added XM radio from Cayenne, $91,500
I know this is a personal decision, but it will help to hear from the forum and to get some poll results.
Here are some details about my use:
* not going to track the car, just love the car for what it is
* will put about 5-7k miles per year
* will keep for apx. 2 years, then sell

White has the best resale for color. Guards Red has options that will help resale the most IMHO especially for a street car.
I can't believe your not going to track the car.
Still think the prices are high for a non CPO car.

Ah, yes, I should clarify on the prices.
I normalized the prices to include shipping (e.g. the red one includes $1,500 in shipping costs, where the white one does not). But, the white one and the Grey one include some other fees from a tax liability perspective (on a trade in). So for example, the non-normalized prices for these cars are:
* $90K red
* $86K grey
* $90K white
Once I layer in the other fees and or tax credits, I get the prior prices.
Yeah, I'll probably throw it on the track once or twice, but it's primarily going to be a street car.

^^u going darker or lighter. I'm not familiar with cost of removing tint - u have any apx costs?

Guards red, it is nicely optioned and that holds well in the used market along with the lower miles. I have seen plenty of white gt3's with no PCM for sale. While guards red with PCM and those options is a rarer car.
The tint can be taken off, from my personal experience. Its best done by a shop or even yourself with a hair dryer and some porsche window cleaning solvents.
Either way, best of luck and i'd like to hear a write up about the the two different cars!

I would pick simply based on what color you like better. All three are great, although maybe the grey will be a bit harder for resale. White might be best for resale, even though options are lighter. I like the white, but think that price should include CPO too.
Excellent contributions so far...please keep them coming.
I do like white better, but there are SO many white ones out there -- probably because they do look the coolest.
I love red -- same color as my prior turbo.
Surprisingly, CPO for these prices don't cut it. It's an extra $2K for the white or Grey for CPO. I'm surprised myself prices are not lower on these yet, but for $90K.
Then again, the red one for example, is a June 2007 inservice date. So, that's 30 months of depreciation...which is about $933 per month in depreciation alone. That seems about right I think.

+1, gray and silver ones are faster to start with.
Park Place Porsche in Dallas just sold an 07 GT3, white, 7-8K miles, adaptive seats, Nav, chrono, red seat belts, and CPO. Asking was $91K. I assume they let it go for 89 or 90K, but not sure. So maybe your car is about right at only 3500 miles, but with less options. It seems like a fair price, but not tremendous. The good thing about your white car is it's local, and don't have to ship.
