New to the GT3 world have some questions

I just recently purchased an 07 GT3 my 6th Porsche and best to date.
I have been looking for about a year and finally took the plunge, car just screams sexy to me and drives even better I think my wife is jealous of my new girlfriend we have quite the intimate relationship.
Wanting to know where a good place is for picking up front lip spoilers may need to buy stock because boy that is low.
Also my car is white and I am curious the rock guard on the rear wheels wells has a yellowish tint is this common ? is there a cure ? I know the clear bra on the front is not this color.
Also I have a set of HRE wheels coming in shortly and I have noticed several on this forum say use the stock lug bolts rather than the HRE's even though they are shorter, I guess I am just kind of curious why and is there really enough thread ? I am assuming the people doing it are in the know just trying to educate myself here.
Also can anyone tell me how many ft. lbs. of torque when changing out the wheels.
I am sure I will have more questions but this is a good start and thanks in advance for your help
The Newbie.

Thanks Todd.

hey guzziboy, you can get the spoiler lips from suncoast. board sponsor on your right. the stock rear rocker guard does turn yellow over time. mine is already. there is no cure. just replace it with other films such as verntureshield. i wouldn't just take it off and not put any protection there as that area takes quite a good beating. for wheel bolts, always a good idea to use proper lengths. i torque it to 93ft/lbs. welcome to the 6.

Correct tightening torque for wheel bolts = 130 Nm (96 ftlb.).

as speedoflight said try suncoast for the lips.... 96 ftlb for torque and I do prefer the factory bolts (with the proper ball seats) over the other lug nuts.

Enjoy! What part of Oregon are you from? You know Snowboarder54 goes up there a lot and drives his GT3 there all the time I was lucky enough for him to show me some of the roads you have there in my RS last year. Wow

Just outside of Medford about 6 hours from you a lot of nice back country roads to drive but not really anywhere to drive the car like it begs to be driven.

Drive 6 hours south to Asland- take a drive over the old Hwy 66 to K-falls!! Make sure you have some tread on your MPSC's, when you leave home, as you won't when you get back!!

Hey Guzziboy,

I misread your post, you are just north of Medford? Try a run up the old 66 hwy. It's one of my favorite drives!! I'm afraid you will have to wait for spring now. The wheel bolts HRE provides are waaay to short. Call L.A. Wheel & Tire, 800 584 2832 and give them your wheel information. They will hook you up with the proper size for about a hundskie. I have the HRE C-21's and they take a 14 x 1.5 33mm NO. Took three days to receive them. Have you met the "pumpkin" yet that lives in Ashland? Oh, and get a SW by-pass!!

I look forward to spring and a good run up over the Greensprings (Hwy 66) and you are right I don't think it would be much fun right about now I think snow level was 2500 feet yesterday, not necessarily a good time to buy a Porsche when the snow fly's and it sits in the garage to much.
I have seen the pumpkin going down the road one day but he was going the opposite direction, I don't know who owns it at least not yet.
Thanks for the wheel bolt info wheels should be in Friday so can't wait.
I would like a SW By-Pass but I have been spending a lot of $$$ lately and I think my wife would string me up if I spent anymore on this car right now I kind of just slipped in the HRE's so I may have to wait on that until next season
