Another anyone know this GT2 thread

Hi Guys,

Been looking around at some 2's. Not a fan of silver cars in general, so its hard to find a 911, right?

Anyone know this car? Gray 2002 GT2 w/ 31k

<autotrader link>

At that price, it seems more like some of the salvage titled GT2's I've seen.

Thanks!
Henry

It's in Irvine which is pretty close to where I live. Maybe I'll take a drive over on the weekend to check it out and report back. Looks vaguely familiar to a car that was for sale about 2 years ago that I looked at.

That is one fine example. Love the Seal Grey and the Champion Wheels combination. Seems to be priced properly at the current market for GT2's though...

30K miles though, I would want to know have much of that was track time or just cruising!!

The ones I actually see moving seem to be in the mid 70k range. I agree the 31k + several owner car sounds like it could've been driven hard, and frequently.

There looks to be a phenomenally clean 1 owner '03 blk/blk on eBay for a premium with 16k.
<ebay>

Same ballpark as an '07 997TT

Henry I would pay the premium for the single owner and lower miles myself. It is a totally different machine than a 07 997TT though, you are correct though in your assertions that they mirror the price point..

I would opt for the GT2 at that price to be part of the elite 2 Club vs. just owning a later model 997TT.. Just my .02 Pal~Kenny

I haven't actually driven a GT2 since they're hard to find for sale around here But I think I agree on the elite factor. Not gonna park next to one unless its at a meet.

The premium for a low miles/owner car looks to be worth it, even if just for piece of mind on an 80k purchase
