Colored wheels/GT3 script: yes/no?

what do you think about colored wheels and the GT3 script. i have a plain jane white 7GT3 and am thinking about spicing it up a little but i dont want to have to regret it down the road. does it look good or is it too over the top?

Great look for the track, not the street.

Definitely not a fan of red accents on white!!!

I would suggest silver, charcoal, or black

I agree with prior posts...looks the bomb on the track but maybe not for the street. Maybe black would do well for both...

Here's an image I found on Porsche Stripes, it's a White GT3 w/ Silver Stripe. I think it looks really classy and subtle.

And here's two images from one of the SharkWerks cars with black wheels and stripe. It's more aggressive looking!

I voted no to both, but I do like that white with the gray posted above.

IMO the GT3/RS is not meant to be a sedate, subdued low profile sportscar. It is a trackcar that's a street car.
Therefore go ahead and make a statement. Now I have a differen idea.
I like the GT3 script but the line is too thick. They have a thinner one like the OEM style.
Do the wheels in black and with a 1/4" pinstripe in red. Red wheels and red calipers not sure about that.
Next red mirrors and red blade on the wing.

Okay there you go. My 2 cents.
Oh and opposed to others, I love the red on white scheme.

I think colored wheels and script is fine depending on the color. This doesn't look too bad:

thanks guys for the pics and opinions. i guess my problem is that a part of me agrees with every comment made here. i agree with Ranger and i also agree with the keep it low key sentiment.

what i will probably do if i do anything is what sin911 suggests. that is to choose a not-so-in-your-face color.

i personally like the red and the blue GT3 but am too chicken to try something that bold.

the black looks a little too harsh to me and i have done black wheels with other cars and dont like the fact that black hides the wheel so much.

i think this GT2 looks nice without going over the top and when/if i decide to do this, this is probably the look i'd want. thanks for looking.

That GT2 looks really clean, I think I already suggested going with Charcoal accents but I have never seen a photo before. It looks really good!

The checkered flag vinyl looks good, but the wheels are too much. I'm still against the red, it's too "hey, look at me!".

At least you didn't paint the mirrors and the wing blade red...
