Thumbs down Terrible speed channel coverage of Patron GT3 challenge

It was painful trying to watch speed channel's coverage of Patron GT3 challenge at Sebring. All you hear is the commentator's voice screaming at you "blah, blah, blah" then he says "watch this!" and quickly shows a wreck or spin out!? . You can't even hear any engine or exhaust from these flying GT3!? There were no in car video and no natural flow of the race by letting you see how one driver edge out the other. It was filled with commercials and none sense side note such as how Patron makes it's tequila. I had better fun watching Rachel Ray on food network. Speed channel need to take a hard look at it's Patron GT3 challenge program and learn from their excellent coverage of the ALMS and F1 races.

This in car video I found on YouTube beats Speed channel's coverage of Patron GT3 by a factor of 100.

I watched it too, and thought maybe I missed the real show and only caught the highlights. I was disappointed by the coverage as well.

I was all exicted to watch platinum GT3 (2010 GT3 Cup car) mixed it up with older Cup cars but the coverage was so bad you can't get a feel of how drivers over come their particular challenge to edge out the rivals. It was like watching a NBA basketball game but all you saw was the tip off, couple fouls and final score without anything in between

Imagine how hard these IMSA Cup Challenge guy's worked to do these two races and then anxiously wait 3 weeks just to see that lame effort done by Speed TV.

I agree... It was freaking HORRIBLE coverage.. Too much fluff and background stuff, not enough racing.. Basically it's just a damn infomercial for Patron and Yokohama.

Agreed, their coverage was hard to watch, but NOTHING'S worse than Rachel Ray. You lose all your man-points for that quote.

Exactly, no coverage of GT or GTC all P1 and even that wasn't great.

I watched that GT3 Challenge as well and thought it was just a highlight show not the real thing. That is truly horrible...
