1st Track Day w/ PICS and VIDEO

Went to my first track day in the GT3 @ Steets of Willow. Car felt great much more stable than my previous car e92 m3. I went with a friend who races w/ Competition Motorsport. He has a gt3 cup car as seen below and races in the Peytron series. Was great getting to work with some pros...gave me lots of pointers and had him drive my car to see what it was really capable of. Took some getting use to, the different driving dynamics of the porsche, getting the front to turn in and having the car rotate. Hit a bump on the chicane pretty hard, next lap felt like i was going to understeer off, tried to get front to go, but i was a mess so i just drove straight off, hear its better to do this. Took a rest after came back and tire was flat so i had to flat bed it back. Day started at 8am this occured at 11am...but it was only 2 of us on the track so i got some decent time in.

Also took off Europipe and put SW center delete back on. I got in my car and it sounded so quiet...I had a friend do a few drive bys before taking it off so I could hear it from the outside...and WOW, never heard anything sound so good...but felt bad for all the now deaf people in Beverly hills, was too paranoid, felt like cops were out for me w/ it. But no question, a best buy. The SW sounds amazing as well, but like stock you only really hear it around 4k and on...but pretty sound to say the least. Both are great pieces.

WOW...RV style...got to hang out in air conditioned living room

VIDEO IS BELOW _ CLiCK ON PIC (short clip of the cup cars going around)

This was today, Blaire is a very nice guy and gave me somengreat pointers. He drives the white/blue gt3. The owner of the orange gt3 was not there, assuming he is dr. F? The owner of competition motorsport was so helpful and what a driver!

Very cool! Looks like a horrible day ;-)

+1 on SW, do you leave the exhasut flaps unplugged? That makes it sound better all the time, even when driving around town 2-3K RPM.

Where's the video?

i need friends like yours.
sometimes tires go flat from debris that gets lodged between rim and sidewall when you have an off. hopefully it's just that and just a matter of reseating the tire.
