RSS and GMG both have center muffler deletes that are similar to sharkys but are different.
I had Europipe Race(full muffler delete) cheap and badass, they also make a sport system.
Cargraphic and FVD Exhaust Sound amazing
Akrapovic makes a fantastic system.
comes down to how much you want to spend and how loud you want to go.

Thanks for the support and kind words guys
We made another batch that should be finished/electropolished by next week but for anyone interested we always say, if for some reason you don't like it we're happy to take it back:P

That said, there full race system (TI headers, cats and rear TI muffler) is what 12K ish? I am starting to shop my exhaust options for my 3RS due first week of October. Less weight is my #1 goal, performance second, sound third. It will be a track car with some limited street use.

If you want power, your only choice is to go to 100 cell cats and different design headers. This fact should be quite clear to any serious exhaust system shopper.
And there is nothing wrong with a shopper that only cares about sound, in which case you can save your money and leave the stock headers and cats in place.
But be crystal clear- reducing backpressure at low rpm's in these engines reduces bottom end torque.
Power and sound, without killing bottom end, can be accomplished by maintaining the OE exhaust valves and/or with long tube headers.
For power, FVD and Akrapovic are the only current solutions I am aware of. Akrapovic is Ti only and FVD does steel but can do Ti ($).
I had a steel FVD on my C4S and it was a power add that was quite noticeable. It is very high quality and customer service at FVD USA is superb.
I have a Akrapovic Evolution system on my 2010 RS and with the valves operating under control of the ECU and Sport button, low end is not noticibly compromised. It sounds fantastic (quiet rumbly idle, 106db scream at WOT) and offers a 37lb weight reduction. Quality is of course best in the world. With control solenoid rigged to force valves to route exhaust through side mufflers 100%, it will pass sound (92db) at Laguna Seca without the need for directional pipes to be hung off the back of the car.
There is a huge selection of side and center mufflers replacements available and ALL will reduce hp/tq.

SAyboy, thanks for your honest and valid comments.Good to see someone speak the truth about aftermarket exhausts on the GT3/RS.Were you able to detect a noticeable increase in power with the Akropovic system?
Thanks "sayboy" for your feed back on the exhaust options. What is your option on this option(s) for the 3RS Just thinking out loud.
1. Akropovic Ti race system (headers, no side mufflers,
rear muffler)
2. GMG Headers w/200 cell cats, fabspeed side muffler delete pipes and the stock rear Ti muffler section.
3. GMG Headers w/ Shark Werks Track Exaust
Again just thinking out loud.

Here is a link to the Europipe Race exhaust, full muffler delete, retains stock headers...exhaust weights around 10-12lbs, stock weighs around 60-65lbs. It is extremely loud, but only $600

The rear muffler delete is a great way to go, but offers limited weight savings on the RS because of it being made of Ti all ready. The big savings IMO is removing the stock side mufflers and or upgrading any part or all of the system to Titanium.
Bottom line, balance the car. Better balance and better control and for a overall fast car.
