aviator33 is infamous around these parts
I shouldn't read articles so early in the morning on the west coast. On the right hand side of the article it states C/C test results - zero to 60 mph 3.5, 0-100 mph 7.5 sec.

My bad. I can scan the article and send it to you if you want.

Nah, 0-186 sounds better anyway. I quit C&D about 3 months ago because it is identical to R&T. At least you got our post count up.

How much faster is the GT2 RS than the new turbo S to 60, 100, 124, 186? Any info on this?

Perhaps Porsche's launch control = Jet assisted take off?
Maybe it was 14.1 secs? That would still be lightning fast...

What about 24.1 secs? That is more believable, and a little slower than a Veyron (I believe).

Well, technically....Top Fuel dragsters go 0-324 mph in 3.71 seconds with humans driving them...but of course that's with over 8,000 HP.

Here are some numbers up to 200 km/h that I posted a while back.

I don't have any 0-300 km/h times for the Turbo S, but extrapolating from the 100-200 km/h times, the GT2 RS will flat run away from it:

997 GT2 RS:
0-100 km/h - 3.5
0-200 km/h - 9.8
100-200 km/h: 6.3

Turbo 'S' PDK Coupe:
0-100 km/h: 3.0
0-200 km/h: 10.1
100-200 km/h: 7.1

997 GT2:
0-100 km/h: 3.7
0-200 km/h: 11.1
100-200 km/h: 7.4

Turbo 'S' PDK Cabriolet:
0-100 km/h: 3.1
0-200 km/h: 10.6
100-200 km/h: 7.5

Turbo PDK:
0-100 km/h: 3.1
0-200 km/h: 10.8
100-200 km/h: 7.7

LP-670:
0-100 km/h - 3.0
0-200 km/h - 9.9
100-200 km/h: 6.9

ZR1:
0-100 km/h - 3.2
0-200 km/h - 10.3
100-200 km/h: 7.1

GT-R:
0-100 km/h - 3.5
0-200 km/h - 12.2
100-200 km/h: 8.7
