... long time ago! Tow my RS to Laguna Seca for the first time and LOVE IT!!! It is so much more comfortable and I can haul all kinds of crap. You are right mooty and thanks for the harassment :thumbup:

My Toyota Tundra did 12.8 mpg with 4500 lbs behind - not bad.

I thought you could only get black or white with that off road package on the Tundra's. Beautiful truck!

And isnt that featherlite the best trailer for that car.

I have the same trailer and love it. I pull it behind my dually pick up and I dont even know the trailer is there.

I use the foam race ramps I had custom make and it takes minutes to load and unload.

Great fun.

Pics of Ramps
Do you think I could get some pics of the custom ramps you had made? Were the ramps that came with the trailer 6' long and 12" wide and did they have a slight barrel shaped edge on them ( about 3/4" high )? Without the custom ramps does the car load ok?

I am enclosing the ramp sketch I sent to race ramps. I have a 2011 gt3 rs that I load on the trailer and a 08 gt2. No clearance issues.

If I understand the question the factory featherlite ramps have a raised edge. The filler ramp solves that but double check the width of that against your trailer. I made mine 1/4" too wide by accident.

Congrats, I started towing a few years ago, and it is the only way to go IMO.

Toyo MT 35x20's. I get 13.5 mpg's running 90. 40 ft trailer with 2 GT3's. Great truck! 800 lb torque is a good thing.

I don't. Here's a couple pics with the cars outside the trailer, etc. I have 38 ft. in the clear in the trailer so there is about 18 inches clearance between. It's a load!

Towing on a small scale is good too.......

Wait til gas hits $5/gallon mid next year.....I get 18mpg with this setup, diesel X5
