GT3 RS Questions

Do all GT3RS cars in '07 come with the same seats? I was under the impression that all GT3RS's seats were the non-adjustable racing seats with the harness holes in the back? Did some come with regular sport seats?

Also, what are the main differences between the 997.1 and the 997.2 models?

as for 2 vs 1, the engine is different, the suspension is different (2nd gen adjustable), the wheels are centre lock, front and rear bumpers are different (rear has LED lights), it also comes with different options that aren't available on 1...such as lightweight lithium ion battery, front axle lift, dynamic engine mounts, etc. There are a LOT of detail changes.

mk1 RS' for US-spec came with only the lame sport seats.. really an insult to US customers. The Euro-spec RS' only came with the fixed-back Carrera GT seats, rear cage and plexi rear window from the factory... these were not options, but standard. Sport buckets in US were only available on the Mk2 ('10-'11) RS'. The mk2's have more HP, more Torgue, better seats and a more refined suspension (same basic components, but they improved the dampers, springs and sways) for better overall handling at the limits vs. the mk 1. This is stock for stock. You can modify and improve the mk1 to handle significantly better though.

The .1RS for the US came with the "sports seats" and not with the fixed backed seats. And they weren't an option.

Nothing other than a black trimmed steering wheel for 2011. I think the 2010 had silver.
