Dealer contacting PCNA and they said the pads should be fine.

Ben,
Do you ever hear any 'metallic-like' noises when you brake lightly?

I am concerned that the worn pads may harm the rotors. That would be more $$$ to fix.

Yeah, me too. Rotors are $14k for the front vs. $700 for pads. That's why I ordered new pads today (if they disintegrate as PCCB pads are prone to do when cracked, the resulting metal to rotor could be ugly). I'm pretty sure I'm just going to put them on unless someone with PCCB experience is confident the current ones are fine. Then again, it's a real PIA getting the car on the lift, it's already on the lift, the wheels are off, the pads are out, and it would probably make sense as well from a labor standpoint to just put the new ones in.

Ben, are you doing the pad replacement yourself? Is the car on your own lift?

Btw, did you check your rear pads? I found on my Stradale, the rears seemed to get more wear than the fronts.

I concur on replacing the pads sooner than later. Why quibble over $700.

the car is at the dealer - my lift (when it comes) won't be the kind i can use with the tires off. also, you need special plates (pretty expensive and from porsche only) to attach to the lift points on the car (and then it has to be tied down lest the car flip over backwards!). the car was in for tires anyway (which i obviously can't do myself) so the pad exchange is not that big a deal. the rear pads seem fine (all black, thick, etc). it's surprising to hear your stradale wore the rears more than fronts!
