FS: CF GT2 Blade

Recently bought a GT2 carbon fiber wing that I was assured would go on my GT3. Folks at DEVEK told me it wouldn't, but the guy selling it swore it would. Of course, it didn't.

I will be shipping it back to the seller for an agreed refund, but if anyone here might want it, $1038 is what I paid for it, p/n 996.512.261.31 Plus shippng.

Same price, but add tax (if you're in CA) and shipping. Again, it will NOT fit a GT3.

Dave's a stand-up guy. When I told him he was incorrect about the fit, he immediately offered to refund my money. I'm shipping it back to him tomorrow if no one here wants to take advantage of the price. Carnewal has what looks like the same the piece for $2900.

BTW, it is a beautifully laid up piece!!! Wish I could use it.

The GT3 is still in the shop. It's been one delay after another, of course. I should have it back this evening or tomorrow evening. Hoping for Friday.

I was supposed to have it back 2 weeks ago, but wrong part came in, then the paint wasn't acceptable to me, then this, then that!!!!

Have the SL55 for sale. Frankly, if that doesn't sell within the month, I'll probably be selling the GT3, and getting a full-on track P-car.

i guess i better retract my " jerks " statement then..

hope the cars comes out well...

I love the gt3, BUT, I am finding not much time to use it... I've put 600 miles on it in 3.5 months....
With a 2 year old son ...my weekends are quickly filled up. I drive the Cayenne most of the time and the only time I drive the GT3 is when I am alone<< not often.

When I do have free time I actually prefer to be on my boat these days... I just dont have the time or desire to track it and find it boring as hell to drive this car around at 90 mph on hwy 1

I think I just talked myself into selling it.... I may just put that $$ into a bigger boat and call it a day, at least then I can spend weekends on the boat with my boy.

I want to be sure I'm clear here, I did not find Dave a "jerk" in any sense of the word. He was incorrect in his ebay posting, and in emails that assured it would fit the GT3. But, as I said, when I told him it would not fit, he immediately offered a refund.

As to using the GT3, you're right about needing to wind it up, but I find it quite tractable around town, and on the weekend trips I get plenty of chances to use the car. Not having a child (thank goodness, at 61, wouldn't fit into my plan), I do have the time to get it out.

But think I'd be happy using the SL55 here and about, and having a track-car to really thrash would be nice, and not as expensive when I go "OOPS!!!"
