RS pics with Black Wheels
what those wheels need is a polished, or just silver lip, it really makes them stand out better.
anyone know a VIN number of a black GT3 that had painted wheels option? (im trying to get a factory set)

Tom,
To have the wheels painted black was £35 to have the rims polished as on the RS rim was £300...
They are just for track use so no real need I suppose.
I know of a SY car with black rims from the factory, would that help?

All black for track is perfect, hides scuffs, scrapes, etc.
I had white wheels on a race car last year, and after one particularly rough wknd, one of the wheels was mostly black.
The one car I had with all black wheels for track definitely convinced me it's the way to go. You can get all the melted rubber and gunk off, but you don't have to work so hard to get them perfect.
Plus, they do look pretty sinister...

I hate the looks of the RS, it just feels over done, espacially with black wheels.
The regular GT3 looks so much better, even though im not to fond of its looks... Reminds me to much of a regular Carrera with aeropackage. Looks are not where it shines though.
Best looks goes to GT2 hands down.

Sort of keeping with the whole Episode III vibe, the fall from good to evil depicted by the virginal white against the sinister black.
The migration from Anakin to Vader.
Either that or it is just easier to keep clean....
Pint firmly grasped Mr Watt.

I never felt very comfortable with the looks of my Mk2, the addition of the RS wing really helps the shape IMO.
Good job they drive better than they look really!
Lucky enough to be getting a drive in a 430 at the end of the month, looking forward to fiddling with the man switch, will report back my impressions.

Each to their own, I suppose you could accuse the 360CS of trying too hard with its £7K bonnet strip....

1. White with red wheels and graphics
2. White with Blue wheels and graphics
3. Ere... One of the above.
Talk is that the 997 RS will have more colour choice, have to say though I really like the white and red (obvioulsy). Was not so sure when I heard it was a white one or nothing but I have to say it really suits the car.
Looks much better in the flesh as well, the Red does not come out at all well in pictures.
As for the strip on a CS, I thought you could only get a 3 legged Donkey in one colour...
Over to you!
