About to purchase a 996 GT3

Im about to purchase a 996 GT3 and im coming from an Exige. Is there any common known issues with this car I should look for? from my understanding it can be driven pretty hard and still considered bullet proof.

Are there any members here that can give me any advice on this car. Im a complete noob to the Porsche world. Im looking to learn as I go along

Thanks

Thanks for all the help. Just closed on a 05 GT3 with 26k miles. It has a roll cage, factory race seats and a set of OZ wheels along with stock wheels.

Any info on where I can get good deals on tires? Looks like the OZs take 315s.

I would also like to know where I can find the euro side markers? I'm only able to find them on eBay.

America's Tire Co. usually has pretty competitive prices and they price match.

As far as euro side markers, you should be able to get them from a Porsche dealer.

You will now have rear vision! No need to stare at that intercooler anymore! Haha. Well I say welcome to the Porsche World. Would love to see pics of your new GT3 when you receive it.

We have the Right

And we have the Left

Both are OEM Hella units, meaning they are exactly the same as what your local dealer will sell you, but for about half the price!
