Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carerra GT... Let's say money, depreciation, maintenance and reliability wasn't an issue... which would you pick and why?

I guess I would have to look at it this way. Coupe or targa? and Garage queen or daily driver? Those would be the only factors if money, depreciation, maintenance, and reliability were not issues. I would think that simply as a matter of convenience the CGT would be much more useful for tasks like going to the grocery store or video store. The Enzo would be a bit much for tasks like that and is probably more suited for weekend drives. Then again, like I stated earlier. If money is not an issue, your friend should get both.
If he can't decide between these, he needs to test drive a little more. If he has teh money to consider the ENZO, he should be able to get both.

I hate the Enzo's styling, so I'm biased ...
I think the CGT is more of a handful, more focused as a fast car than the Enzo. By that I mean that from all the comments, it sounds like the CGT requires the driver to be involved and concentrated behind the wheel, and talented if going fast around the track, due to its "edgyness" around the limit.
The Enzo sounds less of a handful, yet faster, and easier to feel at the limit.
Bottom line is it all depends on how involved he wants to be in the driving experience, IMHO.
edit - oh yeah, forgot to mention money. Enzo sells around a million right now, CGT 400-450k. Next year, the Enzo will probably still be at 1M$, whereas the CGT may be down to 300-350k ...

the enzo would probably be easier since the main complaints of the CGT are the front lip being to low for inclines and you can raise up the enzo
