Question 991 GT3 still selling over sticker?

I am in market for the 991 GT3 open to colors and options.

How much over stickers is it going for in the market today??

I went on ebay and there was literally ZERO 991 GT3 for sale sadly

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'm not truly certain but now that the U.S cars are getting their engines finally the car is regaining traction (excuse the pun). A month ago, there was about 15 or so for sale on Autotrader and cars.com and now there is less than 5 I think. The white one on ebay has been on there for 4 months or more I think. He wants $180 "buy it now". There is also a black one for $165, and a red one too.

To answer your question, by laws of supply and demand, its very likely they will be at sticker or over. Rightfully so. Good luck man.

Don't forget my buddy's yellow one. 600 miles with full 3m clear wrap. Listed on the classifieds here. Very, very, sweet high option car with not a single fault.

Maybe it's just me but I don't like paying MSRP for cars let alone let alone over. I can see bidding for Nor Cal Real Estate but for a car? No thanks. A week after the emotion runs it's course I'd feel like a fool.

I put a message up earlier about a white one for sale at my local dealership. It is a white one and they are asking $165K for it. My guess is it is $10K over sticker. It did receive the engine replacement. And has less than 300 miles on it. If you call on it, ask for Jeff Woody. He was my salesman and is a super nice guy.

sorry don't mean to diminish the experience for those who can afford and are lucky enough to receive a brand new GT3 right off the bat. Reality is, the first year of any new model will always be a bit suspicious to a lot of potential buyers as there are many times kinks to be worked out on most launch cars (media present engine issue anyone?), which brings me right to my second point, try to sell a recall car in 2 years when there are 10+ other ones on the market across the US at any given time. The 2014 batch is jinxed in my mind and I'd certainly not pay more than sticker - unless of course money is a non-issue and you just want to drive the latest right now.

That said, I've seen a 14 model for the first time a few days ago and pics don't do justice. What a car. I'd opt for a 15 model though at this point..

Certainly not just you....unless the car is truly being sold in limited amounts with a 1 year run..I agree, it just makes no sense at all. If your desire is bigger than the concern of money..then by all means...go for it. Some people don't care..they have to have it...more power to those who choose to pay above..I guess...

yes

In Los Angeles, autogallery is asking 30k over and allegedly getting between 22 and 28k. They have one with 600 miles asking 12 to 15 over. It's ridiculous. But it's helping the resale value of good 997.2 gt3s.

All relative. Some people have more time than money. The others have it the other way around. Also, I am not a stickler for MSRP. Sometimes I pay less. Sometimes I pay more. I would try to buy it below market, but that's just trying to get the best deal. Even if one buys a particular car at MSRP, it doesn't mean the car won't depreciate faster than the guy that buys a different car at over MSRP. Case in point: go buy an Aston Martin new, and you can get $$20K or more below MSRP, but then you drive it off the lot and you have just lost $30K. The guy that paid $10K over for a 458 will sell it a month later for the same price or barely lose anything.
