I'm going to be completely frank on this one and you guys know I love power... I actually think that for the RWD GT2, doing the Flash, Exhaust, DVs, headers and an intake is perfect. That's this kit (it's much less for the GT2 at $10,250 since you already have the turbos etc...)

http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=49

In the past 6 months we've done about 6-7 GT2's locally all with the 600Kit and each and everyone of them absolutely loves their car and enjoys "controllable" power at the track. I'd say start with this kit and I'm sure you'll be happy. If you ever want more you always get credit and upgrade to the GT640...

We've done a couple of GT640 on GT2's and the spool up and power delivery is so brutal and so instant that quite frankly it scares the crap out of me. Tires spin, the ***-end moves around and I'm scared. I'm not alone The GT700 GT2 that Stephen did was apparently absoutely ridiculous! With the GT2 you just don't have the AWD or PSM you do that provides the traction you need for those higher GT kits. I'm not the world's greatest GT2 driver obviously and so maybe I'm just a chicken.

Words of wisdom! Thanks Sharster.

I should be picking up my GT2 with the above mods that you recommended tomorrow. I'll post my impressions.

that's next....

Sharkster,

On a GT2 if you did Motons, would you change any other suspension components or just the shocks/springs?

We sell/install the EVO Moton kit because it does come with "nicer" camber plates but we've also done both... where we either leave the rest of the components alone or where we install Cary's ERP stuff....

I am following GT2 threads closely now because it seems as though the decision between race cars has broadened between my father and I to possibly getting a GT2 and setting it up for mainly track with some street use. All of this would have to be set for PCA stock class racing so certain modifications will have to be excluded. I will be sure to talk to you guys at sharkwwerks when the time comes.

Heya Vince,

I didn't hear anything about that yet but I _seriously_ doubt it's a "PSM" system that includes yaw, abs, throttle, brake etc.. control like that system. It's most likely some form of an "aftermarket" traction control system only. Less sophisticated than PSM but that doesn't mean it won't work well...
