GT3 Tires

Just picked up a 2018 GT3 with 3500 miles. It came with Dunlops. I haven't measured the tread depth but I am guessing from what I can see that that they will be about 4/32nds. Close to replacement depth. I searched the forum, but did not see much in the way of opinions on replacement tires.

Is there a view on whether the Sport Cup2 is the way to go vs the Dunlop? Are people going with Pilot Sports instead if they aren't tracking them?

Thanks.

It depends if you track your car or not. If just street use, I would not bother with the Cup2 as you will not get them up to temperature on most drive and they will ware out much quicker.
I went with a set of Pilot Sport 4S and they've been great. Never had any traction issues on spirited mountain drive. Don't drive my GT3 in the rain, but the 4S are way better in the rain as well

Most folks like Cup2s for the track but it's a little compromised if you plan to daily. Another alternative would be the Michelin 4s variant.

Both. N1 is just the "latest" updated compound.

Definitely get the N1, it is a big step up over the N0 from what I have heard.
