GT3 - Got my allocation today!!

Heard from my dealer today. My specs will be entered tomorrow. They are not expecting a build date until sometime in November (and that is a guess). Late '06 or early '07 delivery is expected.

Going with the orange shown in the GT3 RS ads.

No mark up over sticker has been promised. Guessing that means no discount either.

Hey I'm very hapy for you...orange is a very exotic color...it would be awesome!
I didn't realise it was available in orange anyway...post some more specs
Will you get PCCB?

if u're going with orange that means extra few months wait if i'm not mistaken since it's color to sample for regular GT3. can u hang?

I know that the color is not in the standard palatte. don't know what the extra cost will be or any time issues. I am interested in the uniqueness of it however.

Still wrestling over the PCCBs. While I do intend to track it (something I have done in the past in a since sold 911), it will be used much more on the road. don't know if $8K is well spent in that case.

And yes, the wait will kill me, but I want the orange and plan to figure out how to get black wheels with silver rims.

thoughts / comments?

Is it color to sample when the color is a standard P color? It isn't like I am bringing in a shirt and asking them to match it. Whatever the case, I am going to stick to my guns. The 60 to 90 delay will make it tough, but I'd rather wait for what I want given that I don't intend to sell it any time soon. Still have my '98 and plan to keep that too.

color to sample means a color that's not on the standard & optional color list. if i want a Seal Grey now i'll be charged 4k although it's not a uncommon color... sucks i know. it's just not on the list anymore. ur decision is right. just can't wait to see it. it's gonna be super hot!
