Track Wheels for my GT3

Where is the best place to purchase wheels/tires for my GT3? I am considering buying the OEM wheels in case I damage one of the originals on the street. Other options include Fiske. If I do go OEM I am hoping to do better than at the dealer.

Thank you, Karl

Karl, Talk to Gert at Carnewal, I know he has the OEM GT3 wheels and also the painted GT3 RS wheels.

Thank you. I checked them out and their price is $800 higher than the local dealer quoted me!

You can thank the dollar's weakness against the Euro for that

Yes I agree, but anyone in the US has to buy them from Europe to start with. There is no way to escape the exchange issue.

GT3 wheels

ordered mine from dealer, under $3000. for set. I have been fed up with fit problems from aftermarket companys, and bad shipping times from BBS, and decided to do orig. wheels. I was surprised, they are fairly light also.

Check out Kinesis. They have some awesome looking wheels that are light, strong and have black anodized centers if that catches your fancy. I believe wheel experts, a board sponser is now carrying kinesis. I have only heard of good things from them and may get another set of wheels through them equipped with Michelin cups or Pirelli corsa's

I agree that they are nice wheels. In the end I went with OEM. I did this just in case I nick a wheel on the street. If that happened I can then move the ugly wheel to the track set.

wheels

I had Kenisis wheels on my race car. They had to go back 3 times for wrong fit. A year later I ordered another set using prior set numbers and it still took 2 trys. They did stand behind them and gave good service after the initial problems were resolved.
