Aside from the fact that the values are gonna get hammered like congressional pages, how come no one is talking about, ordering or even mentioning the 997 GT2?

Do you mean 996 GT2? 993 GT2 values are rising dramatically as they are extremely rare cars.

The new GT2 is going to be a beast. There isn't a whole lot of info as the newest hottest car is the GT3RS but the new GT2 isn't a long way off.

 

The RS is getting all the attention right now. However, the true benchmark in performance will be set by the new GT2 as did the 993GT2 and 996GT2.

 

993GT2 is very very very rare in USA. the value will NOT be hammered. if you find one, buy it.

996GT2 stays about 110-120 now.

absolute speed and acceleration will be set by GT2's but benchmark performance on track has been and will cont. to be set by GT3. just about every professional driver will take GT3 over 2 on the track. no on street, 2 has a lot more fun tq.

 

The Gt 3 is a very fast car-- more than fast enough for most people .Gt2 is harder to get the most out of so is not as immediately satifying to most drivers(on the track).

 

The 997 GT2 is not a finished product yet.

The problem is how to get 530+ HP to the ground; and beat the performance of the TT with AWD.

There's power and useable power..and I suppose "driveable" power. At the end of the day, that's why the GT3 variants are king.

 

The GT3 variants are king because of their price.
