Looking for a GT3-RS {willing to pay a premium}
Greetings,
My bro wants a GT3-RS and is willing to pay a reasonable premium. The catch is, he wants to order the car to his spec's.
Please email me if you are interested in selling your allocation.

Your brother might be a tad late. I believe all US RS's have been ordered for early 2007 delivery. Some dealers are even dictating to the customers which options they can order (more profit for the dealer). Since the list of options is reltively short, you might wait for the cars to hit the shores and hope to snap one at a reasonable
price. Like all new Posche limited models, once delivered their will always be a seller and a buyer!

Hey Alan,
Thanks for the info.
No doubt I have seen people asking $50K for the car but I have also come across people selling their car for less than 1/2 that.
Also, even though I have heard people asking for $50k, I have not heard of anyone who has bought or sold one at that price.
- I am sure there will be a lot of speculation one way or the other on the price of this car. Should however someone be serious about wanting a bird in the hand, my bro is prepared to make an immediate offer.

Thanks Darren,
A Happy and Healthy to you and your family as well.
And as good as Gary's taste may be, he might have been a year or so slow on this one. I hope to help him find one but won't get my hopes too high.
I'll keep you posted.

B-Line - Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills told me today that they got an unexpected (additional) allocation of one. April build, I believe, and the buyer can still choose color and options. He said they'd want $50K over MSRP. I don't know whether that's negotiable.

Hey Bobby,
Thanks for the info. I don't think Auto Gallery is an authorized Porsche Dealership. As such, I am assuming they bought up somebody's allocation and are trying to flip for a hefty profit.
Also, I highly doubt there are many buyers who would be willing to pay the $50k premium.
I am not saying that there might not be some cars sold for $50k, I am sure there might be. I'm just not one of those buyers. If that means we have to wait on landing a car or passing on the RS all together, so be it.
It is of my OPINION, that the RS is not worth $70k more than a GT3 regardless or rarity. I would also never think of a car as an investment. The RS is supposed to be a track car, not a garage queen.
I hope everyone who wants to sell their car for $50k over is able to find a buyer. But if and when they don't, I have a standing bid (available to real sellers who PM me.)
Thank you all again for the information and help you are trying to provide and I hope this thread doesn't turn into a flame. I know the current RS allocation holders think they are sitting on a pot of gold and I would hate to see anyone get disappointed. I just don't think in the real world $50k is anywhere near a reasonable number. People can ask what they want but those cars are not priced to sell.
Also, I really hope this thread will not turn into a debate of what people think the premium should be. Opinions are really across the board. I would much rather people view this thread as a potential offer for someone who decides they might not want their car and understand that they are probably going to have a hard time getting TOP, TOP dollar.
