I got my GT3 with the intention of a track toy. However, since I have the Radical and this year was the launch of the Western Radical Cup, I've been racing the Radical and tracking it more and more. So the GT3 hasn't had a chance to get on the track, and I'm not sure when I will be taking it to the track, although I'd love to see how it does.

RS is a lot faster through the turns. TT gets up to higher speeds on the longer straights, but not on shorter ones because the RS can carry more speed coming into the turn to start with.
I only have had one track day in the RS, still getting used to it.

you do realize this question is the equivalent of: who owns a Porsche because they love fast cars, right?

GT3 track toy only once in a blue moon I will put the street tires and run around town. The care is way to modify to drive it more than one day a week.

I mostly do PCA events and Drivers Edge so PCA events you can imagine nothing nothing but Porsches. Very few GT3 2 or 3 at the most every time I am out. Know with Drivers Edge we get from Golfs R32 all the way to Ferraris, Carrera GT's we even once run an event with an Enzo ( man that guy was NUTS to track the car that way he did following cars to close and getting chips all over the place)

I respect the guy that tracks his high $$ cars because that is what they are meant for. I respect the fact that he could care less about rock chips or getting dust on the rims. Life is too short not to drive these cars on track and have fun.

For those of you would have chrome rims and cruise your cars for the bling factor, that is your right too. You paid the big $$, you can do what you want. Just don't be so shocked of the guy that brings his RS or Enzo on track and "gets too close" to cars in front of him.

Hey dont get me wrong I am right there with you, is that this guy has never been on track and felt like he was F1 driver and was making and *** of him self.

When I started tracking my car I took my time to understand the BEAST know I just don't care and I get the same reaction " How can you drive this way " my answer " Because the car was build for it "

I got my GT3 to use at PCA events like autocross and time trials. I had been driving a Boxster in those events for two years and decided it was time to learn something new. It's pretty stock. I added a factory rollbar and factory GT3 seats and harnesses. It has been lowered, corner balanced and aligned. I'm playing with tires now, moving from street tires to Hoosiers. I find that there are a whole assortment of people in various types of cars who can pass me in the corners, but I can catch them if the straights are long enough. It's quite a learning curve coming out of the Boxster, but it gets better with each track day. I don't use the car for street driving; it's too uncomfortable and has been lowered, causing it to scrape at every dip. But, it's a blast on the track. As to the original question of what cars run with it at the track: on open track days, all the car types mentioned will be there. But I find the difference comes mostly from driver skill, not the car.
