997 GT3 RS Roll Bar

Can anyone tell me what the part number is for the 997 GT3 RS roll bar. I saw it posted before but after a lot of search time can't seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, just called Champion - the sold their last one yesterday - price quote $2,775 they have more on order.

Also was contacted by the Collection (Coral Gables). They have the GT3 bar in stock part number 997-044-800-18 in stock if any of you GT3 guys are looking.

Just a reminder to check and see if the Porsche rollbar system meets the requirements of whatever sanctioning body you might plan to run with.

My understanding is it does NOT meet PCA Club Racing requirements but I may be misinformed. I do know there are aftermarket alternatives that DO meet all US requirements.

Thanks Chris good thing to point out,

The Factory RS bar bolts in, so it will meet PCA requirements for both DE and racing.

The Factory Tech Equip. bars, which bolt into the seat belt holes are PCA approved for DE, but not for racing.

Make sure you find out if the bars will fit with the Sunroof since all US cars were equipped with a Sunroof.
