Patching Michelin PSCs?

Found a nail in my tire this morning while the paintless dent removal guy was working on my car......

I remember reading somewhere that Michelin PSCs cannot be patched. Is that true and why?

Thanks in advance

Moogle is infamous around these parts
Even if they technically can be patched, due to the high performance nature and special compound of this tire, I would not recommend it.

Tires do indeed lose their speed rating (no matter what anyone tells you) when they are repaired.

Play it safe.

I wouldn't run it on a track, but a patch is probably fine for daily driving.

No disrespect intended, but;

How much does a tire cost?

How much did your GT3 cost?

What is your life worth?

Get a new tire! Bummer to have to but it is the only option on a high performance car, you can't afford to risk a failure.

Peter, while what this guy said was rather blunt.... I must agree.

With all of the deaths on 6speed and abroad lately, I ask you that you play it safe... get the new tire!
