Cup tire pressures at the track
Cup tire pressures at the track
I had been running 32/34 hot at the track, but I increased to 34/36 hot and thought that they ran better at that temp.
What are you guys running?

I use to run 32/36. I tried 34/38. (HOT pressures) Not sure which I like more. The lower pressures allow for more grip...the higher pressures allow for more slip and I was putting down faster times.
The rear did get light with power with close to 38#'s in the rear. 36# and the rears did pretty well. Of course, power oversteer can be nipped if I just was easier with the right pedal.

You should read Michelin's pressure guide here:

32f/36r hot is where I felt the car was most "predictable". That being said, this tire does not have balanced grip or slip on track. Lower pressures amplified this characteristic. I was very disturbed with the performance of this tire and am hopeful to find alternative tires before tracking the RS again.
What are you running on the street? I havn't tracked RS yet but was thinking about 32f and 36r on the track?
