im looking to get a set of straight pipes for my Carrera GT and i want to know if there's a difference in sound between the AWE straight pipes and the Tubi straight pipes??

Go for AWE , I like the sound at the upper RPM's and there seems to be nice review from a member who installed a set on his CGT.

They also offer one of the best sounding exhaust system's for your 997 Turbo if you are considering a set of exhausts, they are quiet reasonably priced and abnoxiously loud.

Checkout Youtube for both the Carrera GT Exhausts and the one's for the 997turbo.

 

Looking at the pictures I would venture to say that they do sound the same.

Both excellent quality. Although the Tubi is made of Inconel which is a nice little touch.. But that doesnt make it better or worse than the AWE system.

The added cost of the inconel versus stainless will be reflected in the price..
