Now I Know Why .. ..

I cannot come to sell my GT2... Had some time today and beautiful weather, me and a friend took the GT2 out and came to a realization, it is mind boggling in every aspect and just downright nutty/scary but totally confidence inspiring with the Moton's and controlable.... Why did I want to sell this car? The thrill tonight was worth keeping it forever, my god! Even driving a 997 GT3 which I wanted badly and over my GT2, well I know why I went for a GT2 and why i havent pulled the trigger on several other cars I want badly, and for the price its again MIND BOGGLING , this machine is just a MACHINE!

Sincerely, Porsche lover

Haha Martin... Aside from the CGT, the only other Porsche that I've driven that scares me is the GT2. Can't imagine what your car is like with all the RUF modifications. Keep enjoying her in good health!

My friend who was with me has a Countach Anniversary Ed, 996TT, Testarossa, G55 and has had several other crazy cars... I must have heard him say 50x umm WOW, this car is just stupid, stupid fast, just ridiculously STUPID around the twisty back roads! hahah

Guess what, I agree, and I love it

Your car is soooo damn FINE! I'd have a tough time deciding too ... a 7-GT3 is pretty FINE in its own right ... though totally different. If you're still lovin' like this ... put the keyboard down ... and don't even think of selling it.

like the old saying goes.....you don't realize how much you appreciate something until it's gone and it's too late to get it back.....in this case, don't let it get gone...

It will wear off again. When i had my Viper i loved, never wanted anything else. Then eventually wanted something new. I drove a friend in my Viper then had him drive it with me in the passenger seat and i said, this thing is amaizing, i never wanna get rid of it. A few weeks later i ordered the 997 GT3 when the wow wore off again, lol. The 996 GT2 is an AWESOME car, but you will get the itch for something new in a few weeks again.

gt2 over gt3?
are you kidding me?
as much as i love gt3,
selling gt2 to get gt3 doesn't make any sense.

Martin - there's no way I would take a 997GT3 over your car. Your GT2 is one of a kind!

I think it goes...

997GT3<997TT<Martin's GT2<GT3RS<<<<<<<<<997GT2

I agree with your comment. I just changed the order a bit.

If i was ever going to own a turbo car it would be the Gt2. So much potential. Good choice on keeping it.

Martin, get the October edition of EVO magazine....its called the scary car issue, and it reviews cars that are deemed to be scary in a good way.

The 996 GT2 and a few others that made the list make for great reading.
