Found a beautiful 04 Gallardo in my area for sale by owner.

I haven't had a chance to check the car out yet, but from his ad, the options are

Pearl Yellow
E-Gear
8k miles
Black/Yellow Interior
Serviced at British Motor Cars (Lamborghini Dealer in SF)

How much is this car worth? Thanks

I'd check prices on ebay (the buy it now prices) and autotrader. A car like that would be 120-140k. You need to see if the Software has been upgraded and if he has had the clutch replaced. The clutch will surely go if it is the original one and that means 5k to replace it.

 

Yes, I've been told about the early E-Gear Clutch problems. It seems like the Gallardo market is starting to take a hit. There are a lot of Gallardo's on ebay for around 120k??

Ok, then it looks like it would be a good deal then. I am just worried once I buy it, the market will continue to sink. I plan on driving this car almost daily. I am not the type of person to put 2k miles a year.

 

As long as you get a good deal... And you Enjoy the Car YOu shouldnt be worried about losing some $ driving an Exotic as a daily Driver... Enjoy it and worry about everything else later...

 

You can save yourself a lot of clutch grief if you don't get an Egear and opt for a manual.

 

And Manual is the Way to go IMO.... Go 6speed!!
