anybody heard any updates on levin's tt murci?

 

Havent been any real updates so to speak of. I talk to him now and then, and it hasnt changed. Next big thing is the coupe they are doing soon.

Yes, much like just about everything else dougie has built in the past few years.

Just because it's a TT murci doesn't automatically make it awesome in my book. Afterlooking at it, it's a down grade IMO.

 

It might not be the quickest TT Lambo, but its quick enough. Doug's Vipers have always been damn impressive, so I dont know what cars youve been looking at.

 

Compared to what? Compare them to other boosted vipers and they are not overly impressive what so ever.

The design and overall craftsmanship of it is pitiful, not anywhere near as nice as that murci deserves.

 

Not impressive? Well, considering his 9 second vipers are supercharged and not turbo like his competitors, thats impressive in itself. His competitors all say good things about his customer service and quality work, and so do his clients.

Have you seen the TT Murci in person? The work is fantastic. Ask Jason Heffner, he will say the same thing. So does everyone who has seen it. Who might disagree? Hennessey? Hes a joke, so his opinion doesnt count for anything.

 

A. apparently he has made TT cars, yet you never hear anything about them. And don't even get me started on his SC builds. I have had my grubby hands all over one of his procharger setups, and uh.. no comment.

Yes I have seen it in person. No, the work is far from 'fantastic' Oh and trust me, you don't really want to have Jason make ANY comments about Doug, lets just say they aren't exactly friends. Hate to break it to ya, but those of us who are around these things all day aren't much impressed.

For what it is, that car should be performing at an insane level. Not parading around in some hokey video that immediately makes everyone question the runs. Take it to the track and get a number, throw it on a dyno, or line up against another TT lambo. Many races have been offered, yet he constantly declines.

Like I said, just slapping a couple turbos on doesn't immediately make it cool, it needs to do something... we're still waiting for that.

 

No dyno numbers no time slips... agree he needs to produce these to help with
the marketing at the VERY LEAST!
