Lambo Gallardo Service: Can a Lambo guy look over this estimate for me...

2006 G Spyder with 3800 miles, is at local dealer for a check engine light (warranty work). While it's there, the service rep has also suggested the below listed work:

Oil & Filter change $534.00
Rear Differential fluid flush & replace $405.00
Brake Fluid flush & replace $298.00
Fuel induction service $327.00
Nitrogen for tires $120.00
Sparkplugs (fouled) $1102.00
R/front rim repair $250.00

Total $3036.00 + tax & shop charges ($50.00)

Any thoughts, on pricing, etc.?

Ohhhh I'm sure you will get some replies but that won't stop me from chiming in.

Sorry, I don't have any information for you, but I am curious . . .

Do Gallardo's typically foul their plugs so quickly?

I got quoted from LOC for my Muci clutch replacement plus fluid change for $10K. This price is included 15% discount. It is pretty normal for exotic cars service but the Nitrogen for tires $120.00 is a B.S

You are being hosed!! I took my 06 SE to Ultimate(Orlando) to have a 1500 mile service done(not required but a good idea, imo). The cost was around $800 and included changing all fluids. The first scheduled service on a 06 or later G is at 7500 miles. I doubt your plugs are fouled or that you need your injectors cleaned at 3800 miles!

My guess is you are dealing with Prestige.... I would stay away from that outfit! They peformed the front suspension recall on my car and screwed it up badly.... left the lower controll arm bolts loose(hand tightened) and incorrectly installed some spacers(which promptly fell out!) I had to have the whole repair redone by the people at Ultimate.

Not having seen the car I won't comment on if it needs spark plugs or not and if the check engine is related to the fuel induction (which I'm skeptical of) but I don't see why they're replacing differential fluid and brake fluid at this mileage unless this car's been sitting.

Also if your friend is worried about pricing tell him to skip the Nitrogen in the tires.

$120 for nitrogen for the tires is .

Just go to your local Tire Discounters and have them do it for free.

That is a dealer price for an oil change. The other diff fluid should be fine. Brake fluid depending on mileage (at least 10k miles). Fuel induction service? No idea but I wouldn't pay that to have it done on mine. Don't pay for the nitrogen. How did you foul the spark plugs? Did you overfill it with gas or oil/flood the engine? The wheel repair can probably be done cheaper somewhere else but that is what I would expect a dealer to charge for it.

I have never done most of things to my car at a dealer and I have done a lot of things to my car. We can't really say if most of the stuff is necessary but the prices are as I would expect from a Lambo Dealer. I also wouldn't trust anyone else to do most of it. It is the cost of ownership in most cases. How many miles does your car have?
