Sold my 640 to a friend 2 weeks ago.A stock car with quicksilver muffler bypass.

I had my 997 turbo fitted with EVT700 kit now,feels much faster than the LP640 I had before.but that just feeling,never race with 640 on a straight DRAG lane.Anyone have any idea if I could beat my "old" car with a 700HP 997 turbo manual in a 0-400m race?

 

I viewed some magzine tests it looks like the LP640 can't even beat a stock 997 turbo in 0-60 race..only passed it after 100mph...Is that true?

 

i would think your TT modded - will easily take a LP640 from a roll or a dig...

 

evt 700 997tt is faster than a lp640.

 

640 really shines at the higher speeds

 

yeah, the lambo and its just brute power and sound, where once again...turbo lag is turbo lag...I would have kept the lambo and if anything modded that...its a lambo

 

based on your power to weight ratio i'd say you'd take an lp640 pretty easily, at least until 250-260kph. The lp640 is a beast at higher speeds though and it'd probably be too close to call above that.

0-400m you should definitely win though

 

The LP640 i use to meet in mexico was not slow. Are you guys who are saying its slow ever seen it in action?

I watched a proto675 run a lp640 and the proto took it by about 1 cl'th

 

yeah, the lambo is a monster and just keeps going...that's why I love it

even stock 997TT can keep up with the LP. TT with flashed ECU for sure is faster
