help with tubi exhaust...

Guys, I'm about to buy the Tubi exhaust for my 06 Gallardo. Are there a few versions of the exhaust or just only 1 for the 06?

And how much louder is it compare to the stock exhaust? My current exhaust seem to be louder than standard G. I'm not sure myself, is it might be the performance exhaust? Previous owner told me that its the performance exhaust.

Thanks!

I had the tubi on my 05 and it sounded great. To me the Tubi sounds the best, but just my opinion. The 06's are louder stock for stock than older models(I believe).

Yup, 06+ has different exhaust. I would go with Fabspeed, they have a carbon fiber exhaust developed specifically for 06+ gallardos. I would get their sport cats along with it and intakes for maximum performance gains (they are cheap anyway).

why not go for Kreissieg?

they have valvetronic, so you can choose to go louder or quieter anytime you want.

also it sounds great

also search for other exhausts, Capriso, Larini, Meisterschaft, etc...

sounds great...but really hurt the wallet. Which one is louder, Tubi, larini, or the new Fabspeed?

Check some clips on youtube, it also depends if you have cats or not. With straight pipes, Fabspeed is probably loudest. From a performance standpoint Fabspeed seems to the most free-flowing design and the lightest of them. It also only costs $2,500, other ones are a rip-off IMO.. especially that Kresiegg which is like $15,000

I have a Tubi on my Diablo and its ok. Its gives good low end deep bass sound....too bad Lambos do that already. Tubi is great for ferraris, not so much for Lambos.

I have a friend with an 06 Gallardo and he put an Lamborghini Orange County exhaust on it and its by far the best sounding. I think he said it was like $3500 or something like that.

Tubi is more suited for Ferraris. I have Fabspeed on my Porsche.....very satisfied. Their carbon fiber setup for $2,500 is a steal
