Question what is a decent deal on a 04 Gallardo?

Thinking about picking up an 04 Gallardo. It seems that the prices are all over the place. I'm wanting to find something with under 10k miles. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Brian

Talk to Jake or Mike
(858) 547-8424

They currently have an 04G but it does have 20k miles. I am sure that they can help you out with anything that you may need.

Good luck!

Based off watching prices for the last several weeks, I'd say an average of $86k - $90k for an 2004. Best price I've seen was a one-owner, black, 9k mile for $86k in Reston VA. Sellers/Dealers are advertising in the low 90s and those I've contacted took offers in the mid-to-high $80s.

For me, 2004 seems to be the least desirable of all the model years. 2005 seems like an awkward year as the only update was the lift (correct me if I'm wrong). 2006 seems to be the ideal MY since there were several updates including tranny, lift, and increase in HP. Seems like it was a pretty significant revision.

I know this thread is asking for info on the 2004, and the only reason I bring up 05 and 06 is because if the asking price on a 2004 gets closer to $100k, it might make sense to consider a newer model year.

And prices are indeed all over the place. Just a couple months ago, we saw a 6speeder let a 2007 go for $122k. A couple weeks ago, a clean 2006 went for $112k. Then we saw an 2004 listed for $125k. So you also gotta factor in how motivated the seller is.

So I'd consider $85k a good deal and $90k to be fair for a clean 2004.

this is something i would be interested in too, but at the end of the day, i would never buy a 5+ year old Lambo (that is outdated and may have problems) and with high mileage (aka 20k++). I would want a perfect to excellent condition, and I would be willing to pay an extra couple bucks for that!

Great info, thanks!

I've constantly been checking on eBay and cars.com - and the 04's seem to be going for 99k and 100k on the spot

Nothing wrong with a later production # 04, lightest of the G's except for the SL....and paying for less miles is not always the best option, upcoming problems would have been fixed under warranty..

I've been watching eBay & cars.com for many, many months, so I can probably chime in here somewhat accurately...

A clean, TRUE no stories 2004 G with less than 10k miles will probably run you $90k-$96k, depending on how low the mileage is and how many options it has...
Anything less and there will be higher miles, issues, etc. Anything more, and the owner is smoking crack...
Trust me, I know, I was going to buy a "no stories" Orange 04 I found on this forum and after a PPI, I was shocked to find out the various issues the car had that the owner vehemently disputed...

I recently saw a couple clean low mile 2006 G's (both silver) go for $108k on no reserve auctions in eBay, but I also saw a low mile 2006 Orange SE at $108k with no reserve go without any bids for the 4-6 weeks it was up for sale... I also know of a Balloon White 2006 SE with 3.6k miles that went for 117k the other day...

There was also a nice silver 2008 Gallardo with low miles that sold for $135k on eBay with no reserve...

I hope this info helps, I am looking to buy a "no stories" low mileage 2004-2007 6-Spd Gallardo as well, preferably Balloon White, Jet Black, Dark Grey or Silver for a fair price...

I have been looking without luck for so long I am getting frustrated...

2004's have been all over the place.

Clean, decent mileage cars seem to be in the mid 80's.

I've seen some high mileage or ''flukes'' sell for somewhere in the 70's.

once winter arrives, pricing will drop even further on the 04s. There's a couple of high mileage ones in SoCal for 80's - would stay away from those unless the PPI comes clean and has good paperwork.
