According to AutoExpress, Audi has given Lamborghini the backing needed to finally put the Estoque into production.
However, Audi’s move wasn’t a selfless act as it will give the automaker the chance to create its own high-dollar
four-coupe.
Giving the green light to the Estoque means that Volkswagen will also have to give the go-ahead to Audi’s long-rumored
A9 model. “Designing a supercar from a clean sheet of paper is one thing, but a limousine that people will drive to work
every day…well, that’s a different thing, and Lamborghini doesn’t have the resources to do it by itself,” an insider revealed.
Although details on the A9 remain scarce, the Estoque is expected to arrive in production form with either a V10 or V12 engine,
sending power to all four wheels via Lambo’s AWD system. The Lamborghini Estoque will compete directly with the Aston Martin Rapide.

 

maybe i'm just really tired (i am), but it looks like a Panamera shagged one of the new Camaros and this fell out. it just doesn't look like a Lamborghini other than the obvious front end.

 

ha ha funny comparison, you may be right... im not loving it but something about a new 4 door lambo that makes me look!

 

by far the best looking 4 door coupe. rapide is a close 2nd but it is ridiculously small in the rear

 

I also think it's the best looking 4 door coupe. Wonder how much it will retail for.

I think it look crazy which is good, I love it.

 

everyone dogs on new concepts with a close minded approach.... I felt the masses were doing the same thing over the Panamera. I think if you give it some time, see it in person, see it unexpected coming down the road at you, then you'll start to rethink your first opinion.

 

better than the panamera, better than the FF, better than the Maser, better than the re-designed CLS, close with the rapide
