Ford GT or Aventador
GT's are definitely beatable, ask Mullet himself, SW gave him the hit at TX and still pulled on the Ford. That being said, Mullet is a standup guy who stands by his car and is humble about what it is capable of. An Aventador with UGR TT would just be aweinspiring. Much faster transmission than the Gallardo, and a ton more torque as well

I'd definitely go with the GT. The lambo will always be a lambo to non-car people. The GT will be different and as a car guy I'd enjoy a GT over a lambo any day.
Oh yah if I had a GT it would definitely have to be 1000hp or so. With the money saved it shouldn't be a problem... plus if you can afford a GT you should be able to afford to turbo it. (Or able to do it yourself!)
There is no reason to debate if any one car can beat another. Get LMR's Camaro to run yah and see how a measly $10K car rapes all the not so super cars.

OT, I notice you are a Renzo guy living in Houston. When I was in upstate NY I was an assistant instructor for a Renzo affiliated school.

Trouble reading, wow great video, beep beep, step on gas.
Dude I have done ALL the work on my car and always will. Have driven a lot more than what you just posted.
How does working on a Porsche make you an expert on the Ford GT motor?
How does driving a very low powered na motor make you an expert on a 200 mph plus very high hp car that can easily go sideways?

GT seems to be awesome speed machine but Lambo is simlpy from outer space!
Working on my engine and being immersed in all things car for 40 years makes me very knowledgeable about cars and engines in general. NEVER said I was an expert on the Ford GT engine (see earlier posts), but i know it's story and specs.
I know engine technology and I prefer N/A engines to forced induction. Bragging about hp numbers in your car is childish, only the engineer is in a position to take credit for that. There is a specific supercharger kit available for 928's that betters the Ford GT output, Big Deal.
Like I said, N/A power is what I like, I would take this worked 928 engine over the Aventador or GT, 640rwhp
The truth is I could buy a Porsche TT of Ford GT today If I felt like it, I don't. I own one of the best specced examples of, imo, the most beautiful and enjoyable cars ever built. I have driven it @ 160 and at 120 and could not tell the difference. I see NO point in driving a street car @200mph. There is no extra thrill to compensate for the extra danger. It's pointless and foolish.
Someday I want to redo my spare engine similar to the one above for 500 bhp. That's enough for me. Until then I will have to suffer with 320bhp for a 3150lb car, sounds great and looks better. My bike also gives plenty of thrills, so I'm good.
Having been to the factory and having watched the Italians piece them together by hand with the help of giant machines and Dyno each one... they are still Lambos lol
To non-car people the Ford is a Ford, and the Lambo is a Lambo, and there is no question which is the better brand. To car people the tech, the capabilities of the car on the track and the power is undeniably outstanding. I love the GT but it is not a classic, maybe one day but not now. The Lambo is just a better car.
Rawness is not a good enough reason for me to spend 150K If I couldnt afford the LP700 I would get an LP640 or GTT over a Ford GT no questions or remorse.

There is more VW/Audi in the current Lambo than 'Lamborghini'.
