"great car for learning how to autocross"
I don't know, Ive been autocrossing for years, was a service mgr at a lambo dealer for a few years as well, I drove many many Lambos.... I would have to disagree with it being a good car to learn to autocross on.....
Of course as long as the bank account is ready for viscous couplers, clutch and of course pleanty of tires. Oh don't forget the Koni shocks, that always leak..... go for it
Forgot to add the drivability of the Boxster compared to the Diablo, can for sure plan on driving the Boxster home from the autocross- Lambo.... Id bring a trailer, jus in case...

give the guy credit
Oh, I can't agree with you more. I was just stunned when I pulled up and saw it ready to run.
Its pretty sad when you see a beautiful car with no miles on it, to me its kind of a waste. I know collectors and their thoughts on mileage, but to me, why have something your not going to enjoy and just look at.

Id totally autocross an SV, rear wheel drive in a Diablo is a blast.
Id compared them to a 996tt to a GT2, not saying a 996tt is a bad autocrosser, but something about the viscous coupler being so weak in a VT (and expensive) while also being able to slide the back end out, in of course, your SV.
