Lamborghini Egoista Concept Unveiled
Lamborghini concludes its 50th anniversary celebrations with the unveiling of the Apache helicopter-inspired Egoista Concept. This news is so breaking it’s not even on Lamborghini’s press site just yet. In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Italian automaker has just unveiled the Egoista Concept. It looks amazing but here’s the catch: it has just one seat and its name translates to "selfish" in Italian, hence only one person can enjoy it at a time. According to Jalopnik, the Egoista’s interior design was inspired by the Apache attack helicopter’s single-seat ****pit layout and the overall design, inside and out, was handled personally by VW design chief Walter de Silva.
Power reportedly comes from a 5.2-liter V10 that makes around 570 horsepower. Other sources claim the supercar is extremely lightweight thanks to an abundance of carbon-fiber and the ****pit canopy can even be removed. No other details are available just yet but we’ll bring them to you as soon as we have them. In the meantime, enjoy this one official image along with a number of live shots first posted on the Teamspeed forum.
