Startup / Warmup Procedures
I was just curios what everyone does when they start their cars in the morning. Do you just start and go, or do you let the car warm up?
I live in Southern California so morning temps are rarely below 65 so I usually start my 08 Gallardo and give it 60 seconds and I am off.
Just a little curious.

Just start and go with a 996. Runs great cold or warm. Everything I've read about warming a car is that it just gives you 0 miles to a gallon. No need for it.
Now I don't jump on the throttle until it is at normal running temp.

I start it and drive slowly out driveway and keep rpms under 3K until it gets temperature/thermostat opens.
