I really don't agree with you on this. Most tuners have shop cars they take around to different events to show what they can do. When it comes to sales Im sure AMS will be selling a package(s) close to what they put in the shop car. It would be really bad business to not capitalize on all the press they got from that quarter mile run! Tuners are in the business of making money not to just set records. BTW I have no loyalty to them or GTR's. I've never owned one and have no desire. There is no way around it, AMS just set the bar to a new height and it's up to other tuners to go after it. Numbers don't lie.

Plus if you have enough money and you call AMS you think they're going to say no. If someone is willing to pay whatever the cost I bet they could get it. They set a quarter mile RECORD! I'm sure AMS's phone and email are quite busy today. I know if I owned a GTR I would be calling lol

I think where the difference may lie is they can build an all-out insane car, break it at an event, and nobody will say a word. But a customer's car breaks at an event and the forums would go insane about how unreliable their build is.

It's a very powerful package! But I'm sure it's not reliable enough to sell it to the GTR community.

I'm sure they will build you car with the Omega package and even more powerful but they won't offer any type of warranty and if the car break their name is gonna go down the drain so that's why they don't offer the Omega package.

Maybe this is the time for the Gallardos to retire and let the TT Hurracan fight.
I still can't believe the Hurracan have the same engine as the LP Gallardos and it goes from 0 to 60MPH in 2.5 Sec...
