Twin Turbo Lambos Finally Dethroned?
Don't see this mentioned here, but AMS GT-R beat all UR Lambos very convincingly in Texas earlier this month. This GTR also runs 7.7 at 186mph in the 1/4 mile (https://autos.yahoo.com/news/ams-alp...180217569.html). Will the Lambos ever regain superiority? Time to step it up Lambo tuners

The blue lambo moves out very well. Who built that car ?
Love the TT Viper with the sequential, badass machine as well !

No to make excuses but the "GTR Omega" (AMS's car) is the king of all the GTR, they won the race but they didn't race the king of the Lambos... And the Lambo they race was running street tires...
So this make it GTR1 vs UGR 1000

That GT-R just sent a lot of tuners to the drawing board with that quarter mile time/speed! Truly outstanding job by that tuner. Amazed to see a quarter mile in under 8 seconds!!! The numbers that car put down are hard to wrap your mind around.

AMS' GTR is very impressive, but I think it's important that people remember that this is AMS' shop car/test bed for future Alpha packages, meanwhile the UGR cars are customer cars. So where you can you can pick up the phone and order a UGR 2R/X TT-G setup, you can't go call AMS and get the Omega setup.

AMS' GTR is very impressive, but I think it's important that people remember that this is AMS' shop car/test bed for future Alpha packages, meanwhile the UGR cars are customer cars. So where you can you can pick up the phone and order a UGR 2R/X TT-G setup, you can't go call AMS and get the Omega setup.
This argument always gets a bit tricky. I kind of agree, but didn't Kevin from UGR also have HIS car there.
A win is a win, however.

I'm a tt Gallardo owner and the way I look at it shop car or not doesn't matter. The owner still has to pay for parts and his guys labor to put it together. So a win is a win. It's like me when people see my house they say must be nice to own a construction company. Which I've never get it. I still have to pay my guys labor the same as if I was working on a customers house. Yes there's no mark up for me but it's still costs us all money.

Guys, the Underground Racing Gallardos cant win every race but they have won what, 9 out of 10 in the past few years that we have been at? Two UGR Gallardos just finished 1st and 2nd at Pocono yesterday. You win some, you lose some. The battle goes on.

UGR has been so dominate that the expectations are crazy. UGR still makes the best street cars on the planet. At the end of the day that is where 99% of my TTG spins its time, on the street. Other 1% it spends its time at events running, and it runs really damn well considering I bring the car exactly how I run it on the street. I don't have to swap my wheels/tires, adjust boost, or any of that stuff.
