Well, I have a dilema so I am looking for some advise. In the next week I will lose 2 cars from the stable. 04' 996 Porsche Turbo Cab. and 04' Gallardo. They are both great cars for their own reasons but I am trying to downsize from 2 cars to 1. I have a position for an 08' 997 Cab and I was told today that I could get a 08' Gallardo spyder without having to wait (summer delivery). ?...which way do I go?

I have the same issue between a 06 M3 Cab and a 05 Murcielago Roadster.

 

If your 04 Gallardo is pearl orange with low miles, you should sell it to me...

Seriously, unless you're going to be using it as a daily "park anywhere" driver, I'd go with the G-spider.

 

LOL. Point well taken regarding the watch analogy. OK, I'll take it 1 step further with the dilema...I'm looking at the Gallardo options and I spec the car at around $240K. Yes it's a great car and all but for about 100K more I can have a Carrera GT. Obvioulsy at this point the 997 is not part of the decision process but is a lambo spyder worth 240K considering I'm selling my coupe for 140K...is an open top worth 100K more???

OH and GHOSTRIDER...Come on now, my comparison is not as far fetched as yours...a BMW to a Murci Roadster. It's not like a 997 is a total pile...at least I didn't think so before I started getting responces.

I understand you want one car, and a convertible, so I still vote for the G.
997S Cab is lovely, but it's so far from a Gallardo Spyder. If you can swing it, do it!

Seriously. You have owned 2 of these machines but have not owned the CGT yet, of have you? Why not step up a bit further and go the the supercar?
