My Build...

Thoughts? Did I miss anything?!
I get it late July & I will be getting my own 21" rims!

edit-- Changed the order @ my dealer & went with the RED interior instead of black!

Also, you can see I selected the 14 way 'partial leather seats'. Whats throwing me off is that on the picture, it shows the same seats as if I were selecting the 8 way with Alcantara/Leather. Why is that? With the ones I selected, I hope im not getting alcantara! Anyone know why the picture doesn't change unless I select the middle option 'partial leather seats w/ leather package' on the 14 way?! A bit confused on that area, but I can still change it if need be.
Nice build and close to what I will order.

Really need the roof rails, leather key pouch, smokers package and red seat belts? Just asking myself here....maybe the seat belts as a unique thing.

Alcantera rocks but prob just an outdated or glitchy pic.

How about wood or carbon fiber wheel and dash? Tow hitch? Larger wheels?

Can't remember if Bose comes with the big upgrade package...

Gratz

Good calls!

Roof Rails -I removed them on my new build/edit above.

Carbon Fiber Wheel - Not a fan at all. I like holding onto leather (just a personal preference as I know the wheel is highly popular). I think it throws off the look of the interior as well if you don't have the entire CF package. I like the interior as dark as possible, thats why I didn't get the brushed aluminum either. It comes with standard BLACK as far as I know (pictured below), which is perfect. Heres a cpl pics.. I prefer the wheel (and interior) on the blue macan here. Just can't see myself getting the CF wheel.

Rims- Getting my own 21 inch rims as soon as I get the truck.

Nice Build! +1 on getting the wheel in all leather as I also like that best. Also that Red interior is going to be superb!

Did the dealer give you a build month yet?

Not really.. Just said I can't change my options anymore after about mid march, & to expect delivery late July. ( Says same thing on my documents) If I had to guess, I would say it will be an, Early May build.
Red Interior CANT WAIT! Sat in a Panamera w/ Garnet Red today.. My lord!

That's something to be excited about it, Enjoy!

Sounds like you have your build where you want it, but it's worth mentioning not to wait until the last minute for any changes as Porsche has been known to lock some orders early. YMMV

Question, if anyone is even reading this.

If you were me, would you REMOVE Navigation (3400$) & ADD IN PASM & Sport Chrono (I would actually save 400 bux if I did that) The only thing that is a concern is if I go to sell the car, NOT having a NAVI on a high end car like this might devalue it or ppl might skip right over it (thats what dealer said) ??
Would love peoples thoughts on this as I'am new to Porsche!

Thank you!

I'm of the notion that you won't ever make your money back on any option, meaning you won't get your $3400 back on the nav, however, you might have a harder time selling it down the road. That said, there's always a buyer if you have patience.

I'm also a believer that you should option the car that will bring you the most enjoyment and satisfaction while you own it. Don't worry about the next buyer 2-3 or however many years later. It's a depreciating asset, enjoy the heck out of it while you can.

Agreed. Personally, I could care less about nav. I think I would have more fun with PASM & Sport Chrono. Every article I read, its always about how fun the Macan is to drive, how good it is, how fast it is... so I think those 2 things are a must. I'll probably end up changing it because your right, I don't care about re-sale value anyway, I make enough $ that I don't have to worry about it being worth that extra 1-2k because of Navi! Hell, the thing is RARE as hell anyway so maybe it will sell for a premium down the road since it is white on red! Very rare & very desirable, especially if production is slow on this car & wait times drag on & on, these things will be worth a bit more than if there was a short wait list (or none).

+1 Build the vehicle you want! Personally after driving some Cayenne's around PASM was one of the first boxes I ticked, but everyone is different!

I loved the LCA on my Audi. Wish I had it on my 991. +1 on order what you want, and screw the next guy. Honestly, it's your car, make it what you want. People in the used car market know they don't get to choose it exactly as they want it.
