Is the air suspension worth it? Ordered one for the wife today Feb built date. Can still add the option

Are you going to be towing or doing any off roading? If yes it may.....just may be worth it, but if not, then I do not believe so.

 

Agree. Ones other reason - of you want to lower it or have adjustable ride height AS is useful. And some like the ride better with AS.

 

I had air suspension in my '09 CTTS and I did not get it in my '14 CD .. honestly I have not missed it one bit and one less thing to go wrong later in the car's career

 

Is it reliable? I know mercedes air attic is expensive to repair and they all fail.

 

So far it has been but the Macan is a newer line so has not really been service proven, as already said, if you don't really need it, it is something that can fail and will most likely be expensive to fix if not in warrenty.

However, she wants the sport design package and painted blade. It's all about the look for her. And my 80yrs old dad is going to inherit her old Cayenne. haha

 

Now there is a switch: Dad inherits a nice car! Must send this to my kids for future reference.
