My MY 2015 Macan S threw a "oil level above maximum" light today on the dash. The oil was changed over 4 months ago and has been showing a correct oil level until yesterday. Has anyone experienced this? Most likely the oil level sensor has gone south.

 

Send an oil sample to Blackstone to see if fuel is being added to your oil via a failing high pressure fuel pump.

 

Didn’t send oil for gas analysis. The “maximum oil level exceeded” light went off the following day that it came on. Checked the CPU. It didn’t thrown a code. Decided to wait to see if would would come on again. As of today it has not.
