Help on wheels for a 08 C class

Im posting this up for a friend of mine who bought a 08 c class.

What is the cost of new amg wheels for it and the best place to order them, and/or the c63 wheels that seem to be somewhat different?

Thanks Guys!

The cost for new AMG wheels will vary depending on style and size wanted. You can contact your local Mercedes dealer for pricing, but be prepared to pay a hefty price. I would suggest contacting your local tire and wheel shop or an online retailer for best pricing.

Thanks Guys. I'll look into it. He wants to stay with OEM rims so the Brabus are out. Will online retailers carry the c63 style rims? Im guessing it's exclusive to the dealers for now.

I have a new C300 Sport. I have the 18 AMG wheels that were an option. I know those wheels through the dealer are about $550-600, and thats my cost, so probably over $700 for someone off the street. That gives you an idea.

Here is my car with those AMG's.

Talking not going to be that cheap

They're cheap when you buy them as an option for the car, but the cost will be dramatically higher to purchase any new wheels from a Mercedes dealer. Don't be surprised if they try to charge to $500+ per rim!

Better to stick to a private party, but I'd be prepared to spend $1k or so for a new set of 18s.

I wouldnt reccomend getting them from the dealer try searching ebay and classfields at various mb forums to see if someone is selling them at a lower cost.

Second solution would get aftermarket wheels such as Carlsson or Brabus because I find them to be the best in looks and highly suite the new W204 C-class. The carlsson are very classy with the many spokes in a polished finish such as the U/L 16 wheel.

One solution would be to get a set of AMG rims from an E with AMG appearance package. They are different than the E63 wheels, and have a nice flow to them. They came on my E350 from the factory, and I love the look. There were a set of replica E63 wheels floating around EBay on 19's, may want to take a look at those. But you may want to steer clear of replica wheels; don't know what you are getting, and I've heard of people having problems long term.

Thanks guys, ill pass the info along:

rlebwohl: Your car is looking Hot! I like the look with those AMG's but I think my roomate is set on the c63 rims particulary

Shellx: Thanks for your insight. He bought the car through the euro delivery program, although it won't be driven in germany and instead is just gonna get shipped to PR. So he's gonna find out if he can still swap them/price when it arrives in about 2 weeks. I think replicas are out for now. What is the size of the E350 amg wheels you mentioned?

They are 18's staggered all the way around. I'll try to take a photo this week, and I'll pop it on this thread.
