Considering an E63 S

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and over the past few months, I've been considering getting an E63 S. I recently sold my 09 911 C4S and prior to that an E46 M3. I'm needing something a bit bigger as those 2 aren't as friendly for a family of 4. I've been keeping an eye out for a decently optioned 2014-2016 model and landed on the one linked below. I've asked for service records, close up pictures of the interior, tire tread, brakes and carfax. Depending on what I get back, I'm sure I'll ask additional questions. Looking to hear you all's opinion on the one linked as well as guidance on what to look for when buying used. This car is out of warranty as well. Thanks!

I have a 2013 E63 with Performance Package since new. One thing that was a requirement for me was the upgraded leather interior. It is light years ahead of the base leather.

I would love to get a 911 someday, but this works for a business car that you need to put people in the back seat.

Awesome looking E. I rarely drove the Porsche due to having kids that don’t fit. As much as I loved it, this would be my first sedan. So I’m actually looking forward to it.

You will love it. I put a basic tune on it it and cut out the small resonator, and got 577 HP at the wheels and 652 ft lbs of torque. It sounds amazing when you stomp on it, but yet isn’t obnoxious at all.

Foe 2013, there wasn’t a S model, it was an optional Performance Package. It was basically a factory tune for 550 HP at the crank (over 507), red brake calipers, and Alcantara on the steering wheel. Yes, this car does have it, and the optional limited slip rear, which was a $1,300 option.

Since the additional HP comes from a tune for the Performance Package, cars with the performance package and non-performance package all end up with the same HP when installing an aftermarket tune.

This car is the last year of the RWD.
