Hey guys, just wondering if anyone is looking to buy playstation 3s? I will likely be purchasing multiple systems(if people are interested) when they are released on nov 17th. if you are interested PM me. these things are going for ridiculous amounts on ebay right now. another member on here is selling them as well. price will also be $750 for the 20GB and $850 for the 60GB +shipping on both.

not sure about the hd recorder, but i know it is blu ray capable. if you are interested send me a PM and you will be added to the list.

 

no it does not record HD content...but it does play Blu-ray and dvds etc....

 

then why buy the bigger 60 gig version verses the 20 gig one?

 

more memory for games, music, photos, as the PS3 has slots for the memory sticks and other removable memory

 

If you don't have a pre-order already (from an EB Games or Gamestop) or camp out 2-3 days in advance of a Walmart, etc. on the days before the release there is no way you are going to get one, let alone multiple Ps3 units.

The eBay pre-sales orders are going for $1300 - $1800 right now - I've been tracking them for the past five days to monitor the market.

There are just 400K units for the US & Canada and they will be gone in 1 second with no new shipments due until December 29th.

 

I am also curious on how you intend on getting multiple units? I read that 400K units will be coming here and the demand is close to 2million. Also if you are somehow able to get multiple units, why are u only selling them for only 850 dollars? Im predicting that they will go on ebay for 2500+ a piece.

 

I said im going to make the effort to try and get them, i know there is no guarantee(which is why i said i might not be able to get a single one).

Heres the deal guys. I talked to bestbuy today. They are limiting the sale of PS3 to one(1) per person!(same with circuit city). I know, ridiculous! i thought they would as least let you buy 2 or 3. So my hopes of getting lots of them are kinda out the window unless i get a mob of people to join me and camp out. a couple friends will likely camp out with me so we can each pick one up, and we are going to try a bunch of stores after and see what we can do. im not sure how this is going to work anymore because it looks like its going to be even tougher than i thought it was gonna be to get them, and i thought it was gonna be hard. So I might have to change the way this is going to go, but i dont know how to do it. any suggestions?

note that i may only be able to get 1-3 of them because of my friends who are going to get them are getting them for me to sell. what do you think is the best way, since the list i created in hope of 'many' PS3s is completely out the window.

 

to make things even more difficult...there will probably be less than 400k units at launch. I think it might be closer to 300k or less. I've heard horror stories of the first units off the line.

 

no problem for me...just one less reason to spend $1000 on a toy...but still can't wait...
