Ashburn checking in

I have met a couple of the folks here and enjoyed the company. Hopefully, I can participate in some more events with everyone in the future.

About me:

I am a Captain in the Air Force and recently moved here from Colorado in June. I got a wife, 2 dogs and no kids.

Hi all: Alex in Lansdowne here. Anyone want to drive from Leesburg Sat 11/2 @ 8 am?

Sat 11/2 8 am. Meet for breakfast at Johnson's Steakhouse at corner of Catoctin and Market St in Leesburg. Then see beautiful Western Loudoun via great backroads between Leesburg, Lovettsville, Middleburg, and Upperville.

Sorry, but I'm still not very familiar with Ashburn although I've lived here for 6 months so far. Is Bloom on the Ashburn village side? I know where Farmwell Rd is. I guess I should get out and explore Ashburn more often. My wife and I find ourselves in FFX Co. more than Loudoun Co. and sometimes wonder why we moved here if we keep going to FFX. Co. We absolutely LOVE it here but I guess we need to change our "habbits".
Hope to see you around the area.

The Bloom is on Waxpool and Ashburn Village, the subdivision is right behind it. Fudruckers and Bertuccie's will be opening shortly near here and I heard rumor of an Alehouse but so far it's just rumor. Perhaps we can get some local folks together and meet for some grub once they open.

Sounds good...maybe we can all meet up for happy hour as long as no one leaves drunk I guess. I have not had any drinks in Loudoun Co. yet...amazing.
